Purpose of the App

Bill Reminder is a personal finance organization tool for tracking recurring bills, due dates, reminders, reports, payment history, overdue items, and optional household sharing.

No Financial Advice

The app provides organization, reminders, and summaries only. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, banking, credit, or investment advice. You are responsible for reviewing bills, paying providers, and confirming amounts and due dates.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to enter accurate information, keep your account secure, review reminder settings, and comply with applicable laws. Notifications and badge counts are convenience features and should not be your only way to remember payments.

Accounts and Guest Use

You may use the app as a guest or sign in with Google. Guest data may be stored locally or under an anonymous Firebase account. If you sign in, the app may migrate guest data into your signed-in account.

Household Sharing

If you create or join a household, shared bills and member information may be visible to other household members. Only invite people you trust, and do not share invite codes publicly.

Premium Features

Some features may be marked as Premium or coming soon. Availability, pricing, and included features may change before or after release. Any future paid subscriptions or purchases will also be subject to the applicable app store payment terms.

Imports

The app may help extract bill details from text, links, CSV files, Google Sheets links, Notion links, screenshots, receipts, or similar sources. Some imports may use OpenAI smart import. You are responsible for checking imported information before saving it.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the app, attempt to access another user's data without permission, interfere with Firebase or platform services, reverse engineer restricted service behavior, or use the app for unlawful activity.

Service Availability

Bill Reminder may rely on Firebase, Google Sign-In, notification systems, network access, and device features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted sync, reminders, imports, reports, badge counts, or availability.

Data and Privacy

Use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how app data is used and stored.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app from Settings. If you no longer have the app installed, contact support to start an account deletion request.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the app owner is not liable for missed payments, late fees, incorrect data, lost data, service outages, or indirect damages arising from use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised terms.
